Description
A non-stock, non-profit and non-government organization, formed in June 1980 through the initiative
of then NPCC Commissioner Gen. Guillermo A. Pecache (Ret.), to work hand in hand with the government in the protection of the environment, prevention, abatement and control of land, air, and water pollution.Vision
To be the leading organization complementing the government in conserving the Philippine Environment.
Misson
PCAPI is committed to be an active partner in institutionalizing environmental conservation, continual improvement and compliance to regulations.
Objectives
- To be the leading resource in managing the
environment by fostering among its member high
degree of responsibility, integrity, dedication and concern for preserving and maintaining a healthful environment. - To serve as effective communication link and
active advocate with the government and other
stakeholders in institutionalizing pollution prevention, continual improvement and compliance. - To promote cleaner production, waste
minimization and pollution prevention among top
managers, decision and policy makers and workers of industry and the general public. - To serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas and formulation of strategies to address pollution and environmental issues.
- To promote the general welfare of its members as well as the growth and success of the association.
- To coordinate and cooperate with other organizations, both local and foreign, on issues related to the environment.
- To establish Chapters nationwide under the umbrella of the PCAPI National.

6. Use of available reading materials on environment, pollution control and environmental management from the PCAPI Library.
7. Right to vote during the annual PCAPI General Assembly and election of officers and Board of Directors.
8. Opportunity to be considered for Awards given by PCAPI to individuals and/or companies with outstanding achievements on environment.
9. Other professional privileges that the PCAPI Board of Directors may authorize or make available to the member from time to time.

aside from the above stated benefits, Institutional Member will also enjoy:
1. Fees on all seminars , conventions and lectures sponsored by pcapi, locally, the institutional members will enjoy discounts.
2. Invitations abroad on environmental concerns such as trainings, lectures, seminars, conventions, by industry ,by sponsoring foreign agencies institutional members maybe invited if they qualify.
3. Can get more participations in the operation of PCAPI by involving themselves as an officer or director of the association.
